Background

Dick Morrill attended art schools in Boston and New York followed by a number of years in the field of illustration. He later taught at Pratt, Parsons and Suny while also directing a number of student programs abroad. He currently spends full time in his studio.

Statement

Talent, skills and a knack for gimmickry are not enough. Constant practice and visual inquiry will in the end determine the worth of one's work.
